Who We Are

Sarah founded CityLux Events with the help of our head planner Allie and with a shared vision, to create a planning experience that feels as exceptional as the wedding day itself. With backgrounds rooted in weddings, event planning, and production, they bring a level of organizational expertise and creative vision that sets CityLux apart in the Boston wedding market. Their eye for detail, vendor relationships built over years of working in this city, and commitment to flawless execution are the foundation of everything CityLux does.

As a boutique firm, CityLux intentionally limits the number of weddings taken on each year. This is not an accident — it is a deliberate choice to ensure that every couple receives the focused attention, responsiveness, and dedication their wedding deserves. When you work with CityLux, you work with Sarah and Allie directly, from your first consultation through your last dance.

We believe the planning process should be as enjoyable as the wedding day itself. From the moment you reach out, our goal is to understand your vision, your aesthetic, your priorities, your story; and build a wedding experience around it. We ask the right questions, anticipate the details you haven’t thought of yet, and manage the complexity of vendor coordination, timelines, and logistics so that you can be fully present for every moment of your engagement and your wedding day.

Boston is our home market, and that matters. We know the venues, we know the vendors, and we know how to navigate everything from Back Bay logistics to New England weather contingencies.
